Job summary

Eyeglass World is seeking an Assistant Manager in Lakeland to lead store operations, support the team, and deliver quality eye care with a great shopping experience. Sundays off are offered as part of the schedule.

You will work with doctors and staff, balance staffing to volume, and drive promotions, reporting, and customer service excellence while developing talent for long-term growth within National Vision.

Qualifications

• Experience in optical sales and customer service.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Maintain optical licensure where required.
• Proficient with computer systems and reporting.
• Ability to coach and lead a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Customer-first mindset and service excellence.
• Ability to analyze financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Drive profit, sales and performance to NVI standards.
• Monitor sales results against budget.
• Ensure high customer service levels across store staff.
• Maintain Ready When Promised production flow.
• Provide store reporting to management and corporate offices.
• Foster relations with doctors and staff.
• Ensure promotions and merchandising are current.
• Supervise and motivate associates and aides.
• Assist GM with staffing and recruitment.
• Motivate staff to exceed goals.
