Job summary

Eyeglass World in Florida is seeking an Optical Specialist to be the face of our in-store experience. You will deliver warm, confident service from pre-exam support to eyewear readiness, fitting, and pickup.

The role blends customer connection with optical support and finishing excellence; you will guide eyewear selection, perform final adjustments, and prepare orders for pickup while upholding brand standards.

Qualifications

• Strong multitasking, time management and organizational skills (Required)
• Clear communication and the ability to educate customers effectively (Required)
• Ability to prioritize customer satisfaction at every interaction (Required0)
• Hold an active dispensing license as required by the state

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, confident, and personalized service at every stage of the visit
• Guide customers through eyewear selection, final fitting, and product education
• Ensure customers leave feeling confident in both their eyewear and their experience
• Assist with patient flow and pre exam screenings to support Optometrists
• Help ensure smooth transitions between exam, finish, and pickup moments
• Serve as a calm, knowledgeable presence throughout the customer journey
• Perform finishing work including final adjustments, inspections and quality checks
• Prepare orders for pickup and deliver polished, brand aligned handoff
• Model Eyeglass World service standards, tone, and behaviors in every interaction
