Job summary

Eyeglass World, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee daily store operations and coach a team to deliver quality eye care and an exceptional shopping experience. You will work with store leadership to meet sales goals and maintain Ready When Promised production boards.

Ideal candidates have optical sales experience, strong communication, and a proven ability to lead and develop staff while upholding National Vision standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in optical sales; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lead, coach and build relationships with staff.
• Understanding of store operations and performance standards.
• Ability to analyze and report on finances and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Drive profit, sales and performance goals per National Vision standards.
• Monitor sales results against budgeted figures.
• Ensure all store associates deliver high levels of customer service.
• Maintain Ready When Promised production board visibility.
• Communicate with GM, District Manager and Corporate Office; provide store reporting.
• Develop relationships with doctors and coordinate store activities.
• Promote promotions, advertising and visual merchandising.
• Supervise and motivate Optician/Sales staff and daily tasks.
• Assist in recruiting and retaining a high-caliber team.
