Job summary

National Vision is seeking an Assistant Eyeglass Manager to drive performance in the eyeglass department. You will supervise Opticians and sales staff, ensure compliance with company policies, and deliver a high-quality customer experience across the store.

Responsibilities include staffing, mentoring, merchandising, and achieving profitability targets while maintaining service standards. ABO/NCLE certification is a plus, and licensed opticians are preferred.

Qualifications

• Maintain Optical license as required by the state.
• ABO and NCLE Certification is preferred.
• Optical sales experience with supervisory exposure is desired.

Responsibilities

• Drives and achieves profit, sales and performance goals per National Vision standards.
• Optimizes eyeglass department efficiency and compliance with policies.
• Mentors Opticians and Sales associates to meet sales and service goals.
• Ensure quality standards and effective merchandising of promotions.
• Forecasts staffing needs and assists in recruiting and retaining staff.
• Leads and coaches teams to exceed customer service targets.
