Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Manager to lead our in-house Optical team. You will coach Opticians, consult customers, and ensure accurate measurements and high-quality eyewear, blending product expertise with exceptional service.

The role requires a licensed dispensing optician or ABO-certified professional with 2+ years in a management role, plus a passion for learning, coaching, and maintaining optical standards in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician or ABO-certified required.
• 2+ years in a management role with team leadership.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills.
• Ability to break down prescription terms for customers.
• Detail oriented with a helpful, professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Optician team and ensure exceptional service.
• Take measurements, fit eyewear, and ensure accuracy to specs.
• Verify finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requests.
• Explain prescription terminology and product options to customers.
• Coordinate staffing and oversee Optician Apprentice Program participation.
• Uphold HR policies and promote a productive store culture.
• Support store systems and inventory management.
