Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Supervisor to lead our in-store optical team. As a keyholder, you will open/close the store, mentor opticians and retail advisors, and ensure exceptional customer experiences through product expertise and friendly service.

The ideal candidate is a licensed dispensing optician with 2+ years of supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and a detail-oriented approach to fitting eyewear and validating prescriptions.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in applicable states with 2+ years of experience.
• ABO certification preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to supervise and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Set store up for success daily by executing operating, service, and staff procedures.
• Lead and mentor the Optical team, including apprentices and staff.
• Maintain store systems, inventory, and eyewear quality standards.
• Deliver above-and-beyond service on the floor and assist customers with prescriptions.
• Foster a positive, productive employee culture and ensure compliance.
