Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Supervisor to join our in-house optical team. As a store keyholder and leader, you will guide the optical staff, maintain operations, and ensure an exceptional customer experience.

You are a licensed dispensing optician (or ABO-certified) with 2+ years of supervisory experience, passionate about eyewear, and skilled at communicating prescription terms. This full-time role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license or ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states, with 2+ years of experience, including supervisor responsibilities.
• Passionate about the eyewear and retail industries.
• Clear, effective communication of technical terms to customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers to meet eyewear needs and take measurements.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Open/close store as a keyholder and maintain store operations.
• Lead and mentor Optical team, including Optician Apprentice Program participants.
• Maintain inventory databases and store systems.
