Job summary

Wealthfront is seeking a licensed loan officer assistant to join our MOps team in a fast-growing, tech-enabled mortgage operation. You will guide Wealthfront clients through the loan process with strong service and automated tools, ensuring compliant, efficient origination.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, critical thinking, and adherence to regulatory standards, while offering equity and a discretionary bonus in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed MLO with active license and compliance mindset.
• 4+ years of mortgage lending experience.
• Experience at a mortgage broker preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Conventional Conforming and Jumbo guidelines.
• Solid understanding of state and federal lending regulations (TRID/HMDA).
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to leverage technology to improve processes.
• Experience in wholesale and/or correspondent channels.

Responsibilities

• Support clients through intake and loan closing processes.
• Ensure accuracy of initial application data before submission to Processing.
• Serve as primary client contact, setting clear expectations on timelines.
• Deliver initial disclosures timely and in compliance with regulations.
• Work independently on standard files and escalate as needed.
• Ensure loans originate in full compliance with federal and state rules.
• Advocate company values and contribute to team culture.
• Foster a collaborative, performance-driven, inclusive work environment.
