Westside Children’s Therapy Inc. in Elmhurst, IL is seeking a part-time Evening Clinical Counselor to support families and children through evidence-based therapies.

The role involves family therapy with parents of children 3+, and individual therapy for children 5+ after clinical evaluation. Responsibilities include initial assessments, behavioral observations, developing treatment plans, providing psychoeducation, coordinating care with the team, and supervising LPC/MSW colleagues.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling or social work from a CACREP/CSWE accredited university.
• LCPC or LCSW licensure in Illinois.
• Prior experience working with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide family therapy for parents of children ages 3+ and individual therapy with children ages 5+, pending clinical evaluation.
• Perform initial assessments, behavioral observations, and develop short- and long-term interventions with individualized treatment plans.
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and families while collaborating with internal team members to ensure coordinated care.
• Serve as a clinical supervisor to LPC/MSW level prepared team members.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide family therapy for parents of children ages 3+ with verbal communication skills, and provide individual one-on-one therapy with children ages 5+, pending clinical evaluation
• Perform initial assessments, behavioral observations, and both short- and long-term interventions while developing individualized treatment plans
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and families while collaborating with internal team members and other disciplines to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care
• Serve as a clinical supervisor to LPC/MSW level prepared team members

QualificationsWhat We’re Looking For:
