Westside Children's Therapy in Tinley Park, IL is seeking a licensed Clinical Counselor to provide family therapy for parents and individual therapy for children aged 5+ after clinical evaluation. The role emphasizes collaborative care with a dedicated team.

Responsibilities include assessments, creating treatment plans, psychoeducation for families, and supervising LPC/MSW team members. Evening and weekend availability is preferred to support families after school hours.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling or social work from a CACREP/CSWE accredited university.
• LCPC or LCSW licensure in Illinois.
• Experience with children and families.

• Serve as a clinical supervisor to LPC/MSW level prepared team members.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide family therapy for parents of children ages 3+ with verbal communication skills, and provide individual one‑on‑one therapy with children ages 5+, pending clinical evaluation
• Perform initial assessments, behavioral observations, and both short‑and long‑term interventions while developing individualized treatment plans
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and families while collaborating with internal team members and other disciplines to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care
• Serve as a clinical supervisor to LPC/MSW level prepared team members

QualificationsWhat We’re Looking For:

• Master’s degree in counseling or social work from a CACREP/CSWE accredited university
• LCPC or LCSW licensure in the state of Illinois
• Prior experience working with children and families
