Job summary

Westside Children's Therapy in Frankfort, IL is seeking a part-time clinical counselor to provide family therapy for parents of children ages 3+ and individual therapy for children 5+. The role emphasizes evidence-based practices in a supportive, collaborative setting.

The ideal candidate holds a CACREP/CSWE-accredited master's degree and IL LCPC or LCSW licensure, with prior experience serving children and families. Schedule is 3-7 pm weekdays, plus optional Saturday.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling or social work from a CACREP/CSWE accredited university.
• LCPC or LCSW licensure in the state of Illinois.
• Prior experience working with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide family therapy for parents of children ages 3+ with verbal communication skills, and individual one-on-one therapy with children ages 5+, pending clinical evaluation
• Perform initial assessments, behavioral observations, and both short- and long-term interventions while developing individualized treatment plans
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and families while collaborating with internal team members and other disciplines to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care
• Serve as a clinical supervisor to LPC/MSW level prepared team members
