Job summary

Westside Children’s Therapy in Willowbrook, IL seeks a Part-time Clinical Counselor to provide family therapy for parents and individual therapy for children, with open availability for evenings and weekends. The role includes conducting assessments, developing tailored treatment plans, and delivering psychoeducation to families within a collaborative clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide family therapy for parents of children ages 3+ with verbal communication skills, and individual therapy for children 5+.
• Perform initial assessments, behavioral observations, and both short- and long-term interventions with individualized treatment plans.
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and families while collaborating with internal team members to ensure coordinated care.
• Supervise LPC/MSW level prepared team members.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide family therapy for parents of children ages 3+ with verbal communication skills, and provide individual one-on-one therapy with children ages 5+, pending clinical evaluation
• Perform initial assessments, behavioral observations, and both short- and long-term interventions while developing individualized treatment plans
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and families while collaborating with internal team members and other disciplines to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care
• Serve as a clinical supervisor to LPC/MSW level prepared team members

QualificationsWhat We’re Looking For:

• Master’s degree in counseling or social work from a CACREP/CSWE accredited university
• LCPC or LCSW licensure in the state of Illinois
• Prior experience working with children and families
