Westside Children's Therapy in Elmhurst, IL is seeking a part-time evening Clinical Counselor to provide family therapy for parents and individual therapy for children aged 5+.

The role includes assessments, behavioral observations, and developing tailored treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling or social work from CACREP/CSWE accredited program.
• Illinois LCPC or LCSW licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Provide family therapy for parents of children ages 3+ and individual therapy for children 5+ (pending clinical eval).
• Perform initial assessments, behavioral observations, and develop treatment plans.
• Provide psychoeducation and collaborate with internal teams for coordinated care.
• Serve as a clinical supervisor to LPC/MSW level team members.

What You'll Do:

• Provide family therapy for parents of children ages 3+ with verbal communication skills, and provide individual one-on-one therapy with children ages 5+, pending clinical evaluation
• Perform initial assessments, behavioral observations, and both short- and long-term interventions while developing individualized treatment plans
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and families while collaborating with internal team members and other disciplines to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care
• Serve as a clinical supervisor to LPC/MSW level prepared team members

QualificationsWhat We're Looking For:

• Master's degree in counseling or social work from a CACREP/CSWE accredited university
• LCPC or LCSW licensure in the state of Illinois
• Prior experience working with children and families
