Job summary

Pine Mountain Regional Library System is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager for a branch library. The role supports daily operations, supervises staff and volunteers, opens and closes the library, and assists patrons using Evergreen daily.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED with some college credits and at least one year of library or office experience. The role involves enforcing policies, preparing reports, and coordinating with the Library Director and County Librarian.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with HS diploma or GED and some college.
• One year of library or office experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise branch staff and volunteers.
• Open and close the library.
• Collect fines & fees and maintain cash records.
• Train staff members.
• Assist patrons and provide public service.
• Maintain statistics and submit reports.
• Enforce library policy and procedures.
• Assist with Summer Reading Program and special projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
