Job summary

Pines- in Elizabeth, Colorado seeks a Library Administration Manager to lead staffing, budgeting, and service delivery at a busy branch. The role emphasizes staff supervision, policy execution, and strategic departmental coordination across collections, programs, and outreach.

You will collaborate with the Library Service Lead and partners to enhance services, develop the local collection, and support community needs in a dynamic library environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• MLIS preferred.
• Two to five years of library service experience.
• Two+ years of supervisory/management experience.
• Sales, customer service, or public service experience may supplement library experience.

Responsibilities

• Staffing: hire, discipline, coach, schedule, review time sheets, train staff.
• Administration: implement policies, manage budgets, prepare reports, lead meetings.
• Collection Development: plan and maintain dynamic collections based on needs.
• Programs and Outreach: support activities, engage community, market services.
• Professional Development: pursue leadership development and stay updated in library trends.
• Customer Service: deliver excellent service for materials, programs, outreach, and information services.
