Job summary

Pueblo City-County Library District is seeking a Librarian/Assistant Branch Manager to oversee daily branch operations, deliver programs for youth and adults, and build community partnerships. The role reports to the Branch Manager and requires a Master’s Degree in Library Science with relevant experience.

Ideal candidates will have strong customer service, leadership, and public speaking skills, plus the ability to manage time and staff in a dynamic library setting.

Qualifications

• MLS from an ALA-accredited program.
• One year of library experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of children’s and adult programming.

Responsibilities

• Promotes customer service and assists patrons with materials.
• Presents story times and outreach to schools for youth.
• Partners with outside organizations for adult programs.
• Builds community partnerships and promotes library resources.
• Oversees branch operations in manager’s absence and handles scheduling.
