Job summary

Qualifications

  • BSN or currently enrolled is required.
  • DC RN License or eligibility is required.
  • At least 1 year of clinical experience in an ED or critical care setting is preferred.
  • Certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS is required.
  • TNCC certification within 1 year of hire is required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a dynamic emergency department setting.
  • Perform assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement care for diverse conditions.
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor patient responses to treatment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.
  • Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and research opportunities.
