Job summary

Global Credit Union in Anchorage, AK, is seeking a Consumer Lending Title Specialist I–IV to process titles, UCC filings, and other security instruments to perfect the credit union's lien.

You will deliver prompt member service, review documentation, and ensure timely lien recording while complying with laws and policies. Experience with title management and Microsoft Office is valued. This role offers opportunities for career progression within Consumer Lending.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented with proactive problem-solving.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; robust analytical abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prompt, professional member service.
• Review, collect, and process documentation to perfect lien on titles, UCC filings, and security instruments in at least one state.
• Follow up on accounts pending title to ensure timely lien recording in compliance with laws.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls and manage administration of physical documents.
• Document all title management system activity accurately.
• Inform management of aged accounts or unusual activity and liaise with other departments.
• Obtain loan payoff information for stop payments as needed.
• Ensure compliance with laws, rules, and procedures related to titling processes.
• Perform title follow-up on indirect (dealer) loans as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
