Job summary

RRD in Columbus, OH is seeking a detail-oriented document production specialist to create spreadsheets, charts, graphs, mail merges, tables, and presentations to support client brand work.

A two-year minimum in legal document production is preferred; associate degree recommended. Expert MS Excel and advanced MS Office skills are required; strong typing, grammar, and ability to work fast-paced and independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Minimum of two years in a legal document production environment preferred.
• Expert knowledge of MS Excel for data processing and analysis.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) including formatting and TOC.
• Able to work in a fast-paced team environment or as an independent operator.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Good grammar, spelling, and document composition skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit legal documents to client specifications using applicable software.
• Transcribe, scan, clean, and convert documents between formats.
• Recover/restore corrupted document files when needed.
• Handle sensitive and confidential documents with care.
• Use document comparison software and red-lining to correct documents.
• Create complex formulas and functions to analyze data.
• Produce spreadsheets, charts, graphs, mail merges, tables, and presentations.
• Prioritize and scope work requests from clients and negotiate deadlines.
