Job summary

Troutman Pepper Locke is seeking a Business Development Coordinator to join the Marketing and BD team, supporting the Energy Transactional practice group. You will help with planning and delivering materials for growth initiatives and collaborate with attorneys and BD colleagues to drive strategic outcomes.

The role involves research, pitch development, RFP responses, and coordinating client communications and events to raise visibility for the practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and/or combination of experience and training.
• Minimum of four years of marketing and business development experience.
• Prior successful work history supporting a legal practice or similar.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing strategies to cultivate business with current and prospective clients.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform BD efforts.
• Create high-quality pitch materials, responses to RFPs, and client presentations.
• Develop and submit legal directory and award submissions and league tables.
• Develop and distribute client alerts, newsletters, blogs, and thought leadership pieces.
• Coordinate events, sponsorships, webinars, and speaking engagements with logistics and budgets.
