Job summary

Troutman Pepper Locke seeks a Business Development Specialist to support the Transactional and Private Equity + Investment Funds practices. You will join the Marketing and Business Development team in a hybrid role to cultivate client relationships and drive growth.

You will conduct market research, plan events, assist with pitch materials, and promote attorney successes through collaboration with communications and thought leadership initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or marketing.
• 7+ years of marketing and business development experience in a law firm or professional services.
• Strong project and process management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to cultivate business with current and prospective clients.
• Conduct market research to inform development efforts.
• Coordinate events, sponsorships, webinars, and speaking engagements with budget and logistics.
• Collaborate with Communications to promote attorney successes and profile-raising objectives.
• Coordinate thought leadership and blogs, including strategy and posting content.
