Qualifications

• Two to five years of legal billing experience.
• Experience with electronic billing via vendor websites and Ehub.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Meticulous, highly organized, able to prioritize and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Assist in responding promptly to general billing inquiries from management, staff, attorneys and clients.
• Review aged unbilled WIP and provide status updates to Billing Supervisor/Director of Billing.
• Provide expense detailed back-up to accompany invoices as required.
• Research and address client overpayments and cost advances as needed.
• Process invoices using the Paperless Proforma system for specific attorneys.
• Review newly opened matters for clients of assigned attorneys for e-billing availability.
• Ensure invoices are submitted promptly and address reductions or rejections immediately.
• Submit Rate Requests for certain vendor sites when required.
• Provide updates regarding invoice status to Billing Supervisor/Director of Billing.
