Job summary

Addison Group is partnering with a well-established nonprofit to hire a Leaves of Absence Administrator onsite in San Antonio, TX. You will manage FMLA, ADA and disability leaves, coordinate with HR, payroll and benefits, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

The role requires strong organization, discretion with confidential information, and excellent communication to support employees through the leave process from submission to return to work.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in leave of absence administration, benefits administration, or a related HR function.
• Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, short-term and long-term disability leaves.
• Experience reviewing leave documents, tracking deadlines, and coordinating return-to-work processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a strong service mindset.
• Ability to handle confidential employee and medical information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Administer employee leave requests (FMLA, ADA, disability, and other leaves).
• Guide employees and managers through eligibility, documentation, and return-to-work steps.
• Review applications for completeness and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Maintain accurate leave records and update HR systems.
• Coordinate with HR, payroll, benefits, and third-party providers to manage leave.
