Job summary

Teichert is seeking a Leave of Absence Specialist in Sacramento, CA to administer LOA programs in compliance with FMLA, CFRA, PDL, workers' comp, and local laws. You will be the primary contact for employees and managers, resolving complex leave questions and coordinating with Payroll, insurers, and risk management.

The role requires 2–5 years in LOA, a business-related degree, and HRIS/payroll experience. Strong communication and confidentiality are essential, with duties including audits,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience.
Professional HR certification such as PHR, CEBS, or CBP preferred.
Minimum 2-5 years of experience administering leave of absence programs.

Responsibilities

Administer the company’s LOA programs in compliance with laws and policy.
Serve as primary contact for policy and program inquiries via email, phone, and Teams.
Ensure proper administration of LOA and time off per applicable laws and policy.
Coordinate with Payroll, insurance carriers, and Risk Management on pay and leave cases.
Develop and maintain leave SOPs and provide training to managers and HR.
