Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Leave of Absence Analyst to manage employee leave and return-to-work processes in a compliant, timely manner. This role collaborates with HR, payroll, and business leaders, coordinating with third-party leave and workers' comp administrators.

You will handle FMLA, ADA, and disability leaves, review medical documentation, and maintain confidential records while communicating updates to colleagues and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Prior experience in case management, HR, or leave administration preferred.
• Strong knowledge of leave laws (FMLA, ADA) and company policies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage Leave Requests: evaluate and process leave (FMLA, ADA, short-term disability) including state paid benefits.
• Consultation: guide colleagues on leave policies and rights.
• Return to Work: review/audit Return to Work processes with internal/external partners for compliance.
• Documentation Review: review medical documentation for compliance with legal standards.
• Communication: serve as primary leave contact and provide updates.
• Collaboration: work with HR, payroll and management on leave administration and returns.
• Compliance Monitoring: stay updated on federal/state/local leave laws and implement policy changes.
• Record Keeping: maintain accurate confidential leave records.
• Reporting: generate leave usage and compliance reports for management.
