Voya Financial, Inc. is seeking a Claims Analyst to support the Leave Management (VLM) department. You will guide claimants through the integrated leave process, focusing on Short Term Disability and FMLA, while ensuring high-quality service and regulatory compliance.

Location: Hybrid; Minneapolis area with other listed locations. You will analyze claim payments, determine decisions on non-complex claims, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive timely resolutions.

Qualifications

• 1 year of FMLA/unpaid leave claims experience.
• 2 years in short-term disability or paid leave claims.
• Strong decision-making and critical thinking.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative cross-functional mindset.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and determine claim payments accurately and timely.
• Make claim decisions on non-complex disability claims.
• Communicate clearly via phone and email.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in team problem-solving and improvement initiatives.
• Manage work queues within defined SLAs.
• Support additional projects as needed.
