Job summary

Voya Financial is seeking a Claims Analyst to support the Voya Leave Management department. You will guide claimants through leave processes with empathy, focusing on Short Term Disability and FMLA, while ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality service.

Location is hybrid, with specific offices in Minneapolis, Windsor, Atlanta, and Charleston. The role emphasizes accurate claim analysis, timely decisions, and strong stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in FMLA or unpaid leave claims management.
• 2 years of experience in short-term disability or paid leave claims management.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and determine claim payments in an accurate and timely manner.
• Make claim decisions on non-complex disability claims.
• Communicate clearly via phone and email.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in team problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Manage assigned work queues within SLAs.
• Support additional projects as needed.
