Job summary

Cox Automotive is hiring an Absence Advocate to administer and coordinate leave and accommodations across North America, with a hybrid setup based in Atlanta. You will support FMLA, ADA, PWFA, and workers’ compensation programs, liaising with TPAs, HR partners, and business stakeholders to ensure compliant case management.

Responsibilities include managing 100 active cases, data analysis, and reporting, while partnering across teams to deliver timely, employee-centered support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, healthcare administration, business management, or related discipline and 2 years of related experience in absence management or accommodations.
• Strong knowledge of self-funded and fully insured disability benefit programs and ERISA.
• Experience with FMLA lifecycle, ADA accommodation processes, PWFA for pregnancy-related leave, and related documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS/leave management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support approximately 100 active leave and accommodation cases concurrently, ensuring timely progression within SLAs.
• Provide guidance and triage for absence, accommodation, and workers’ compensation cases across the organization.
• Support US and Canada employee populations with jurisdictional requirements.
• Coordinate with TPAs and HR partners to administer cases and process documentation.
• Monitor FMLA lifecycle and coordinate with TPAs for timely resolutions.
• Handle escalated inquiries from Employee Service Center and ensure compliant communication.
• Track and report on case trends, cycle times, and performance metrics.
