Job summary

ResProp is seeking a Leasing Consultant leader to drive occupancy and deliver an exceptional move-in experience. You will guide a team, conduct property tours, close leases, and coordinate with maintenance and accounting to ensure a smooth onboarding for new residents.

The role emphasizes customer service, sales aptitude, and proficiency with property management software, with weekend/holiday flexibility and a focus on resident retention through proactive communication.

Qualifications

• At least one year of leasing experience in residential property management.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays as required.
• Cheerful attitude and focused on customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Tech savvy - able to learn/work with property management applications.
• Strength in Sales / Leasing / Closing / Delinquency Management / Renewal Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead leasing consultants with creative sales strategies to meet occupancy goals.
• Maintain resident ledgers, post rent payments, and issue charges and statements.
• Initiate lease violations, late notices, and evictions as needed.
• Assist Property Manager with accounting month-end tasks.
• Guide leasing from tours to move-in, including closing sales and inspecting apartments.
• Build relationships with residents and respond to needs promptly.
• Plan and organize resident events with the team.
• Train teammates and provide on-the-job coaching.
