Job summary

Greystar in Santa Maria, CA is seeking a Leasing Associate to coordinate the community’s leasing, marketing and renewal activities. You will greet prospects, conduct tours, process applications, screen credits, and prepare lease packages to ensure a smooth move-in and high occupancy.

Required are 1-2 years of leasing experience and the ability to communicate in English and Spanish. On-site work hours are Tuesday–Saturday, 9am–6pm, with potential bonuses and growth opportunities at Greystar.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of leasing experience.
• English and Spanish communication preferred.
• Experience using on-site property management software (OneSite, Yardi).
• Ability to greet and qualify prospects and present leasing information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects, conduct tours, and present available apartments.
• Process applications, screen credit/background checks, and prepare lease packages.
• Coordinate move-ins and ensure apartments are ready for occupancy.
• Follow up with prospects to convert leads into leases and manage renewals.
• Develop and implement marketing plans to sustain occupancy and revenue.
