Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Leasing / Sales Consultant to drive property marketing, leasing, and renewals, serving as the main contact for prospects and guiding them through the leasing process. The role supports resident satisfaction and renewals while upholding Greystar’s standards and ethics.

Responsibilities include lead management, CRM utilization, data analysis, event support, and collaboration with the Lifestyle Coordinator to boost resident engagement. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, hospitality, or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years minimum of relevant experience in sales, marketing, internet and customer service background sufficient to resolve customer complaints and issues and complete financial records, documents, and reports.
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to comprehend and complete legal documents, sell and explain apartment features, and answer questions.

Responsibilities

• Perform all sales and leasing activities to achieve revenue and occupancy goals by greeting prospects, conducting tours, processing applications, credit screening, and lease signing.
• Collect all pertinent information from prospective residents at move-in and record as appropriate.
• Stay informed about market and competitor conditions to impact occupancy, market rent, and sales results; develop marketing plans and goals to sustain occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing activities and events to create and drive traffic to the property.
• Use on-site property management software to track availability, leasing activities, and resident data; analyze data.
• Ensure show units meet standards for show quality; coordinate with maintenance for upkeep and show readiness.
• Follow-up with prospects and new residents within 24 hours to finalize lease decisions; document leads.
• Support lease renewal program by preparing renewal letters and packages and contacting renewing residents.
• Respond quickly and courteously to resident/owner concerns; document requests.
• Demonstrate customer service by addressing residents, prospects, and guests with respect and professionalism.
• Attend community events and outreach marketing efforts to drive traffic and generate leads.
• Complete reports and analyses as required and assist Lifestyle Coordinator with events.
