Job summary

Valiant Residential in Arlington, TX is seeking a Leasing Consultant to manage leasing, occupancy, and retention while delivering exceptional customer service to residents and prospects. You will greet visitors, qualify leads, prepare move-in packages, process applications, and coordinate with the Community Manager to ensure market-ready units.

Qualifications

• Experience working with the public or in sales.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills; Spanish a plus.
• Fair Housing Certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to operate standard office software and community software.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and qualify by covering all criteria (ask questions, utilize completed guest cards, etc.).
• Prepare move‑in packages and lease paperwork.
• Record all telephone and in‑person visits on reports and maintain guest cards.
• Inspect models and available units and communicate service needs to Community Manager.
• Have the prospect complete the application and secure a deposit following procedures.
• Update the availability report and process applications for approval (credit check, rental history).
• Assist in monitoring renewals; distribute and follow up on renewal notices.
• Professionally represent the company at all times.
• Accept rental payments and hand to Assistant Community Manager.
• Input lease information in the Yardi System and obtain signatures.
• Assist the management team with other tasks as required.
• Consistently implement community policies.
