Qualifications

• Experience in working with the public and/or sales.
• Strong verbal and written English communication; bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• Fair Housing Certification, or willingness to obtain before interacting with prospective residents.
• Ability to support and contribute to the community team.
• Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.
• Operate Microsoft Office and property software.
• Two years experience in customer service.
• Neat, professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and qualify by criteria (ask questions, use guest cards, etc.).
• Prepare move-in packages and lease paperwork.
• Record all visits on reports and maintain guest cards.
• Inspect models and market-ready units; communicate service needs to Community Manager.
• Have the prospect complete the application and secure a deposit per procedures and Fair Housing requirements.
• Update the availability report and process applications for approval (credit check, rental history).
• Submit processed applications to Community Manager for approval.
• Assist in monitoring renewals and distribute renewal notices.
• Monitor advertising effectiveness and gather market competitor information.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Accept rental payments and route to Assistant Community Manager.
• Input lease data into Yardi accurately and timely; review with Community Manager before signatures.
• Assist management with other tasks and consistently implement community policies.
