Job summary

Valiant Residential is hiring a Leasing Consultant in Carrollton, Texas. You will handle leasing, retention, and occupancy while promoting resident satisfaction through superior customer service.

Your daily tasks include greeting prospects, preparing move-in packages, processing applications, deposits, and lease paperwork, and recording visits in reports. The role requires strong English communication, two years of customer service experience, and the ability to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in working with the public and/or sales.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Fair Housing Certification, or willingness to obtain before interacting with prospective residents.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Two years of customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and qualify by covering all criteria (ask questions, utilize completed guest cards).
• Prepare move-in packages and lease paperwork.
• Record all visits on reports; file guest cards.
• Inspect models and market-ready units; communicate service needs to Community Manager.
• Process applications and deposits; update availability reports.
• Assist with renewals and renewal notices.
• Monitor advertising effectiveness and market competition.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Process payments and input lease information into Yardi; obtain signatures.
• Support management with other tasks as required.
• Enforce community policies.
