Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Consultant to coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue targets. You will greet prospects, conduct tours, process applications, run credit checks, prepare lease documents, and ensure smooth move-ins and renewals.

Strong communication and organizational skills are needed, with the ability to follow policies on concessions and programs to boost occupancy.

Qualifications

• Incumbents must have all licenses and/or certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions
• Incumbents must have valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Performs all sales and leasing activities to achieve revenue and occupancy goals by greeting and qualifying prospects, conducting community tours and showing apartments, processing applications, credit screening, and criminal background checks, preparing the lease and move-in package, and ensuring a smooth resident move-in and lease signing.
• Inspects apartments prior to resident move-in and ensures apartments are move-in ready; coordinates needed repairs with maintenance.
• Stays informed about market conditions, develops short- and long-term marketing plans to sustain occupancy, and follows policies related to concessions and programs to boost occupancy.
• Designs and executes marketing activities to drive traffic, including referrals, employer outreach, and internet marketing using Craigslist, Facebook, email, and other sites.
• Uses on-site property software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability, traffic, and resident data.
