Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Leasing Consultant to manage leasing, retention, and occupancy with a strong customer service focus. You will greet prospects, prepare move-in packages, and manage applications and payments while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing and company policies.

The role requires experience in customer service, solid English communication, and ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Yardi is expected.

Qualifications

• Two years of customer service experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Fair Housing Certification, or willingness to obtain before interacting with residents.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and qualify by criteria.
• Prepare move-in packages and lease paperwork.
• Record visits on reports and maintain guest cards.
• Inspect models and communicate service needs to the Community Manager.
• Process applications and deposits per procedures; obtain approvals.
• Monitor renewals and distribute renewal notices.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Accept rental payments and remit to the Assistant Community Manager.
• Enter lease data into the Yardi system accurately.
