Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college preferred; or six months to one year related experience.
• Ability to generate reports and business correspondence; bilingual a plus.
• Ability to operate basic office equipment and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with prospective Residents requiring information and current Residents with complaints or problems.
• Develops and maintains Resident relations through on-site personnel, prompt maintenance, newsletters, and policies.
• Learn to develop professional sales techniques.
• Accompanies prospects to model apartments and discusses lease terms and facilities.
• Handles follow-up with prospects who did not apply.
• Completes lease forms and collects rental deposits.
• Inspects model condition daily and arranges for maintenance.
• Compiles and updates listings of available rental units.
• Assists with newspaper advertisements.
• Contacts credit bureau, previous landlord, and employment history of prospects.
• Substitutes for Assistant Manager when absent.
• Adheres to all fair housing laws.
