Job summary

Freeman Webb, based in Nashville, seeks an on-site Leasing Associate to show and lease apartments to prospective Residents, uphold community policies, and maintain resident relations.

The role requires coordinating with on-site staff, processing applications, collecting deposits, updating listings, and assisting with advertising while adhering to fair housing laws. Training and growth are provided.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent preferred; or six months to one year related experience.
• Ability to generate reports and communicate professionally with clients.
• Bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with prospective Residents and current Residents with issues.
• Maintains resident relations through prompt maintenance and knowledge of policies.
• Learns to develop professional sales techniques.
• Accompanies prospects to model apartments and discusses lease terms.
• Makes follow-up calls to prospects who did not apply.
• Completes lease forms and collects rental deposits.
• Inspects model units and coordinates necessary maintenance.
• Updates listings of available rental units.
• Assists with newspaper advertisements.
• Contacts credit bureau, previous landlord, and employment history.
• Substitutes for Assistant Manager when needed.
• Adheres to all fair housing laws.
