Job summary

NRP Group is seeking a Leasing Specialist to maximize occupancy by generating qualified traffic, coordinating tours, and coordinating move-ins. You will network within the local community and provide outstanding customer service.

Under the Community Manager, you’ll promote resident retention, process applications and fees, and ensure show-ready units. A High school diploma or college background helps, with Yardi and MS Office skills preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service or sales experience (or relevant education)
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent, college preferred, Tax Credit Specialist (TCS) accreditation preferred
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office; Yardi experience preferred
• Reliable transportation for essential job functions

Responsibilities

• Conduct leasing activities at the property, respond to inquiries, give tours of apartments and amenities, coordinate move-ins
• Perform telephone market surveys and shop competitors
• Develop and monitor referral programs for move-ins, newsletters and retention
• Support marketing and outreach efforts to increase qualified traffic and closings
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and occupancy standards
• Inspect market-ready units and maintain show-ready condition
