Job summary

NRP Group is seeking a Leasing Specialist to maximize occupancy at a property by generating qualified traffic, showing apartments, and coordinating move-ins. You will conduct market surveys, promote on-site marketing programs, and manage application processing and fee reporting.

The role emphasizes resident retention, excellent customer service, and adherence to Fair Housing and occupancy standards, with opportunities for growth and cross-property assignments.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college preferred.
• Tax Credit Specialist (TCS) accreditation preferred.
• Experience: 1-year customer service or sales experience (or relevant education).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Yardi experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct leasing activities at the property, providing tours of apartments and amenities, and coordinating move-ins.
• Perform market surveys and shop competitors to inform pricing and promotions.
• Develop on-site marketing programs and merchant/neighborhood referral strategies.
• Process applications, rents, deposits and other fees, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Maintain showroom/units, prepare models, and keep leasing area organized and show-ready.
• Assist with resident events and ensure timely service requests and curb appeal.
