Job summary

The NRP Group LLC in Houston is seeking a Leasing Specialist to maximize occupancy by coordinating tours, qualifying prospects, and handling move-ins. You will provide outstanding customer service and promote community retention.

Responsibilities include site leasing activities, conducting market surveys, supporting on-site marketing, and maintaining neat, show-ready models and files. A strong focus on timely follow-up and compliance with housing regulations is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college preferred; Tax Credit Specialist (TCS) accreditation preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or sales experience (or relevant education).
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office; Yardi experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation for essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Lease apartments, conduct tours, follow up with prospects, and coordinate move-ins.
• Perform telephone market surveys and assess competitors.
• Develop and monitor on-site marketing activity and referral programs.
• Maintain files, leasing area, and compliant processes for Fair Housing and occupancy standards.
• Assist with resident retention and integrity of records.
