Qualifications

• Experience in working with the public and/or sales.
• Strong verbal and written English communication; bilingual Spanish a plus.
• Fair Housing Certification, or willingness to obtain before interacting with prospective residents.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Two years of experience in customer service.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and community software.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and qualify by criteria (ask questions, use guest cards).
• Prepare move-in packages and lease paperwork.
• Record telephone and in-person visits on reports; maintain guest cards.
• Inspect models and market-ready units; communicate service needs to Community Manager.
• Process applications and deposits per policy; submit for approval.
• Update availability reports; process applications (credit check, rental history).
• Assist in monitoring renewals; distribute renewal notices.
• Monitor advertising effectiveness; report market competition.
