Qualifications

• Experience in working with the public and/or sales.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Fair Housing Certification, or willingness to obtain before interacting with prospective residents.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Two years of customer service experience.
• Neat, professional appearance and conduct.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and qualify by criteria (ask questions, use guest cards).
• Prepare move-in packages and lease paperwork.
• Record visits on reports; file guest cards as per procedures.
• Inspect models and available units; communicate service needs to Community Manager.
• Process applications and deposits; secure approvals.
• Update availability and process applications (credit check, history).
• Assist in monitoring renewals and notices.
• Monitor advertising effectiveness and file market data.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Accept rental payments and forward to Assistant Community Manager.
• Input information in the Yardi System accurately and on time.
• Assist management with other tasks and enforce community policies.
