Volunteers of America Minnesota Nicollet Towers is seeking a Leasing Specialist to support residents through the leasing process, conduct property tours, explain apartment features, process applications and lease paperwork, and maintain strong resident relations.

The role requires 1–2 years in affordable housing or related fields, with a 40-hour week, Monday–Friday from 9:00am–5:00pm, and a pay range of $20.00–$24.00 per hour. Comprehensive benefits are provided.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associates Degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Property Management, Human Services, Communications, or related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in Affordable Housing, HUD preferred, property management, apartment leasing, hospitality, or customer-service environment.
• 1-2 years of experience in a business office setting.

Mansioni

• Assist prospective and current residents throughout the leasing process, including inquiries, tours, explaining features, processing applications, completing lease paperwork, and follow-up.
• Maintain relationships with residents, provide excellent customer service, assist with marketing and occupancy, and ensure leasing activities are accurate and compliant.
• Manage waitlist, applications, approvals/denials, admissions, orientation, and purging of waitlist items.
• Provide tours to interested parties and ensure compliance with Fair Housing Regulations and tenant selection plan.
• Assist Recertification Specialist with verification documents and paperwork; support Front Desk coverage as needed.
