Greystar is seeking a Leasing Coordinator in Florida to coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies, aiming to optimize occupancy, revenue, and resident satisfaction throughout the lease term.

The role involves greeting prospects, touring properties, processing applications, conducting credit and background checks, and ensuring smooth move-ins. Strong communication and organization are essential for success in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Performs all sales and leasing activities to achieve the community’s revenue and occupancy goals by greeting and qualifying prospects, conducting community tours and showing apartments, processing applications, credit screening, and criminal background checks.

Responsibilities

• Inspects apartments prior to resident move-in and ensures apartments are in move-in ready condition and schedules any outstanding item to be addressed with the maintenance team.
• Stays informed about current market and competitor conditions that may impact occupancy and sales results, develops and implements short- and long-term marketing plans and goals to sustain occupancy.
• Designs and executes marketing activities to create and drive traffic to the community, including referrals, employer outreach programs, and internet marketing tools.
• Uses on-site property management software to track availability, traffic, leasing activities, and resident data.
• Ensures show units meet company standards and prepares leasing office for daily activities.
• Follows up with prospects and new residents to finalize leases or renewals.
• Supports lease renewal program by preparing renewal letters and meeting renewing residents ahead of move-out dates.
