Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Associate to coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies at a managed community. You will greet prospects, tour apartments, process applications, check credit and background, prepare lease packages, and ensure a smooth move-in process.

You will also inspect units, monitor market conditions, implement marketing plans, and drive traffic through referrals and online channels while using OneSite/Yardi for data management.

Qualifications

• Experience in leasing, screening, and move-in processes.
• Knowledge of marketing to sustain occupancy.
• Ability to operate property management software and data tracking.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel on site as needed.

Responsibilities

• Leads and qualifying prospects, tours, applications, screenings, and lease signing.
• Inspects apartments prior to move-in and coordinates with maintenance for readiness.
• Monitors market conditions and implements marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Designs activities to drive traffic, including referrals and online marketing.
• Uses property management software to track availability and leasing activity.
• Prepares leasing office for daily activities and follows up with prospects to lease or renew.
• Supports renewal letters, meetings with renewing residents, and timely renewal processing.
• Responds promptly to resident concerns and documents requests.
