Avanath Capital Management, LLC is seeking a Leasing Specialist in Sterling, VA. The role focuses on leasing, marketing, and maintaining positive resident relations within the community. A high level of professionalism and engagement with residents and staff is required to succeed.

The position requires 2+ years in sales or customer relations, with bilingual English/Spanish being highly desirable. Some evenings and weekends may be necessary, and experience with Yardi Voyager is preferred.

Qualifications

• Passion for providing exceptional customer service.
• 2+ years of sales and/or customer relations experience
• Low-income housing and tax credit experience is highly desired.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) highly desired.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends.
• Solid computer knowledge, Windows (Word, Excel), internet, and e-mail
• Working knowledge of Yardi Voyager Property Management software

Responsibilities

• Customer Service & Sales: greet, qualify, and convert prospects; process applications; maintain renewal notices and lease records.
• Administrative: input data into Yardi, maintain resident files, distribute notices, track commissions, and support management tasks.
• Resident Retention: address resident requests, coordinate maintenance, and ensure timely service response; assist in planning events.
• Adherence to rules: ensure compliance with policies, Fair Housing, ADA, and industry regulations.
