Job summary

Avanath Capital Management, LLC in Foster City, CA is seeking a Leasing Specialist to handle leasing, marketing, and positive resident relations within our community.

You will greet prospects, qualify leads, process applications, and guide residents from move-in to renewal, while maintaining accurate files in Yardi Voyager and delivering exceptional customer service. Bilingual English/Spanish is highly valued and flexibility for evenings/weekends is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales and/or customer relations experience.
• Low-income housing and tax credit experience is highly desired.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) highly desired.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends.
• Solid computer knowledge, Windows (Word, Excel), internet, and e-mail.
• Working knowledge of Yardi Voyager Property Management software.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify all prospects and close the sale.
• Process applications and secure deposits in line with procedures and Fair Housing requirements.
• Type lease and input information on the Yardi System accurately.
• Maintain current resident files and distribute notices.
• Assist in renewals and coordinate with the Community Manager.
