Job summary

Avanath is seeking a Leasing Specialist to manage leasing, marketing, and positive resident relations within the community. The role emphasizes professional engagement with residents and staff, leveraging Yardi Voyager and strong customer service to drive occupancy and satisfaction.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in sales/customer relations, bilingual English/Spanish, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Passion for providing exceptional customer service.
• 2+ years of sales and/or customer relations experience.
• Low-income housing and tax credit experience is highly desired.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) highly desired.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends.
• Solid computer knowledge, Windows (Word, Excel), internet, and e-mail.
• Working knowledge of Yardi Voyager Property Management software.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service & Sales: greet prospects, qualify, process applications, secure deposits, and close sales.
• Administrative: type leases, input data in Yardi, maintain resident files, issue notices, track commissions.
• Resident Retention: handle maintenance requests, communicate with residents and management, assist events.
• Adherence to policies: ensure compliance with Fair Housing and company policies.
