Job summary

University Partners in Tucson, AZ, seeks an energetic Leasing Consultant to interface with prospective residents, process leases, and coordinate renewals. You will handle inquiries, schedule tours, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing standards in a competitive market.

The role involves daily marketing, leasing responsibilities, and coordination with the management team to meet occupancy goals, with a focus on exceptional resident service and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, leasing, marketing, and customer service.
• Ability to communicate the benefits of the apartment community to prospective students, their parents, and University personnel.
• Excellent customer service, sales, and negotiation skills.
• Good communication and listening skills.
• Able to read and understand lease documents.
• Able to be an effective team player and interact well with others.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Able to work weekends or overtime as job requires.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to residents, prospects, and visitors to the community.
• Effectively lease apartments in accordance with occupancy goals.
• Follow Fair Housing Standards in all dealings with prospects and residents.
• Conduct outside marketing under the direction of the Assistant Manager and the Community Manager.
• Conduct the application review for each lease including credit and income verifications and background checks.
• Complete lease paperwork and files for each resident including the lease, all addendums and signatures.
• Ensure the condition of leased apartments prior to move-in, including a final inspection.
• Follow up with residents during lease terms and manage lease renewals.
• Complete all tasks necessary to operate the leasing office.
